Molly Harcombe
Molly Harcombe
Molly Harcombe is a Welsh sculptor and installation artist from Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf. Her work centres around collecting 'lost' or otherwise displaced objects, and the slippage that occurs by making copies of them. Separated from practical use and allowed to embody a mysterious presence, the work looks at re-examining meanings and tensions within these changed objects. As part of the wider process of distorting material, Molly writes short fictions. Objects are further transmuted into texts serving as forewords, footnotes or sketches for respective physical works. Molly lives between Wales and Bristol, and is a current member of alternative art programme School of the Damned.
Milky
Milky
Growing up in the surrounding areas of stroud and now living in Bristol, Milky works as a freelance artist of commissioned murals, paintings, graphic arts and illustration. Their practice combining elements of street art with more traditional techniques of drawing and painting, being heavily influenced by the 90's HipHop movement as well as more gothic painting and lettering styles from Europe. From these points of interest their work aims to mix more popular and iconic aesthetics with darker, introspective portraiture and form.
Ellie Harrison
Ellie Harrison
Ellie is an artist from London who works with sculpture and installation. Her practice takes inspiration from the absurdity and simplicity of the everyday. She is currently looking at mass production in industry, in particular at how food is produced at scale and tracing the complex supply networks that impact our lives. Her sculptures are informed by the hidden materials and processes of this intensive production and she uses humour to provoke reflection and engagement with how things are made in the world around us.
Zed in the Clouds
Zed in the Clouds
Zed In The Clouds: A multi-disciplinary artist, currently based in Bristol. My work explores a wide range of cultural and visual influences through a various different mediums, with a skillset developed largely through commissioned work in the form of murals, illustration and community arts projects. I also work with textiles and create re-worked and hand painted clothing and accessories. I will be using this project as an opportunity to explore a response to more natural environment as opposed to the urban one which I more often work within. I look forward to generating some fresh imagery and experimenting with installation methods in this setting.
